Does danger lurk with the arrival of the Frost Moon?

On November 8th 2022, we’ll be able to observe the Frost Moon, or November full moon.

Throughout history, communities have given the full moon on each month a different name. These names are typically chosen based on the tasks undertaken during that time of the year, such as hunting, planting and harvesting. Seasonal and weather influences are also common inspirations. Because different cultures focus on different tasks, the names given to the full moon do vary across continents.

The full moon in November is called the Frost Moon in the UK, because that is the time of year that we tend to be visited by early morning frosts. In America, the November full moon is often called the Beaver Moon, possibly because Native Americans set beaver traps during this month, or because beavers are very active building their winter dams.

The Canis Hall series is a set of steamy novellas, charting the experience of one young woman who meets an increasingly insatiable wolf-shifter. The eleventh (and penultimate) book, is due to be released on the full moon tomorrow. The series will conclude in December 2022, with the publication of the final book on the night of the Cold Moon.
